The event, held at the HSBC Arena during Rio+20 was a multi-stakeholder roundtable, with direct questions to participants of the dialogue.
Objectives of the event included:
- discussion of the role of the private sector in sustainable development
- exploration of the ways to engage companies and hold them accountable
- investigation of what has been done, and what still needs to be done
- understanding the views on corporate transparency through sustainability reporting
