An International Policy Framework for CSR, Why Now?

Organised by the Dialogue on a Convention for Social Corporate Responsibility and Accountability to take place at the New Economics Institute, the event was designed to discuss the proposal of an International Policy Framework as mentioned in the zero draft. The background of the proposal was described, along with the support from the private sector. Speakers from the Mexican and Spanish Governments then gave their perspectives, before the event was concluded with a question and answer session. The briefing note for the event is supplied below.
