The Dialogue on a Convention for Corporate Social Responsibility and Accountability is the starting point for a stakeholder-led conversation on corporate responsibility in relation to the Institutional Framework for Sustainable Development and Green Economy themes of the Rio+20 Conference. The dialogue aims to draw on conversations over the last number of years in relation to businesses' proactive contribution to sustainable development. We are conducting a number of events, and preparing multi-stakeholder informed discussion papers to develop the idea on how a Global Framework for CSRA would take place. Ultimately, we are lobbying for a process which establishes a convention on CSRA at the Rio+20 Conference. Here you can find information on voluntary initiatives already in place and resources reflecting broader sustainability issues.
